Learn More About Advanced Electronic Services!
Let us tell you a bit about the AES story, and our journey as a company. Advanced Electronic Services, Inc. (AES) was launched as an industrial electronic repair facility (in a 10’x12’ backyard shed!) in Mount Airy, NC, by Steve & Leslie Cooke in March of 1992. Fast forward nearly 30 years later, and our original team of two has now grown to include upwards of 150 employees. It didn’t take long for us to outgrow our 120-square-foot shed, either; AES is now housed in a spacious 130,000+ square-foot facility! We’re thrilled to be able to serve customers around the globe through our careful repair and refurbishment of their industrial electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment. We also offer OEM end-of-life support programs, vendor-managed inventory programs , and engineering services.
AES is not a “traditional” company, and we really have no interest in following in the traditions of others who may offer services that could be compared to ours. Naturally, we share some things in common with other industrial equipment repair organizations, like maintaining a focus on prompt, reliable repairs with competitive pricing. But AES is really about more than justthat as a company. As we continue to grow, we’re committed to maintaining that personal, small-town feel while also delivering an ever-expanding range of large-scale capabilities.
Quite a few things have changed since AES repaired our first electronic circuit boards back in 1992. We’ve grown and expanded our services beyond industrial electronics repair to now include industrial mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor repair services. In order to better serve our customers, we’ve also added equipment sales , vendor-managed inventory, and even on-site repair services. But while many things have changed with AES, some things haven’t: our commitment to our customers, employees and community; a healthy foundation of technical expertise and innovation; and the privilege to serve an incredibly diverse base of leading industries.
At AES, every single client relationship matters to us.We know that our tenthequipment repair for you is just as important as the first, and we know that every successful repair we provide really contributes to your company’s success. If you have an industrial repair need and are looking for a partner you can trust, we’d love to have the opportunity to show you how exceptional AES really is!
What Makes Advanced Electronic Services the Best?
Think of AES as your one-stop-shopfor every industrialequipment repair need! Sure, we repair industrial electronics, but we also have trained mechanical, hydraulic, and motor technicians, along with a team that’s specially dedicated to photo and kiosk equipment repair. Got a servo that needs repairing, rebuilding, or rewinding? We can do it. Have a commercial printer that needs some attention? We can take care of that too!
Our repair technicians know what they’re doing! Many of our team members possess 20-30 years of experience (or more!) in their respective specialties. But we don’t just rest on that expertise alone. We also provide regular training opportunities for our team members to broaden their skill sets, so they’ll be even better equipped to serve your ongoing repair needs.
But what happens when a piece of equipment or particular item that we’ve never repaired before shows up at our door? That’s where our in-house team of engineers comes in. The engineering team can develop test rigs to help us better assess the state of the equipment in question, so that we can ensure the best quality repair possible. In other words, if it’s something that needs fixing, AES has all the insights and technologyneeded to get it up and running again!
Here are a few more AES distinctives. We offer FREE evaluations and quotes on every repair, and we promise to take care of you with pricing that’s competitive and fair. Once you approve the repair order, we provide high-quality workmanship with a fast turnaround time of 8-10 business days for most standard projects. Need a more time-sensitive solution? We also offer a RUSH turnaround time of 1-3 business days, if that’s what you need!
And while some other repair companies can leave you feeling like “just a number” to them, that’s NOT how we do business at AES. Individual customer relationships really matter to us. We don’t just see you as another client; rather, we treat you like a real business partner. When you choose to work with AES, you’ll be assigned an individual account manager . We believe in building real relationships that are both professional and personal; you’ll never feel “lost in the shuffle” with AES!
