
Inside Sales Representative
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cold calls new, potential customers by making multiple outbound calls to potential clients. • Answers web sales inquiries generated by website through phone and e-mail. • Provides repair and new/used quotes to customers. • Understands customer needs and offers solutions by explaining services provided by AES. • Researches potential leads from business directories, web searches or digital resources. • Qualifies leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc. • Creates and maintains a list/database of prospective customers. • Presents and delivers information to potential customers. • Answers potential customer questions and researches answers to customer questions by cross functional communication. • Works with sales team when closing sales. • Tracks weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics. • Builds pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales. • Maintains database of prospective customer information. • Closes sales and works with customer through closing process. • Performs other duties as directed by leadership.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent. Secondary education helpful. • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales representative or related sales experience strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
• Ability to make cold calls and successfully talk to new people. • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels and cross functionally. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers. • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close. • Must be persuasive and goal-oriented with a strong level of tenacity to handle rejection yet continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential customer. • Knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles helpful. • Possesses an energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor. • Eager to expand company with new sales, customers and territories. • Must be self-motivated and self-directed. Ability to work independently as well as be an active member of a team. • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
