
Driver I
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following, other duties may be assigned:
· Responsible for transporting company and customer goods safely
· Coordinate with operations to schedule daily deliveries and pickups.
· Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
· The driver is the main contact with our customers and must provide a competent representation of the company.
· Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed.
· Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws.
· Load and unload delivery goods.
· Maintain vehicle in good working condition.
· Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience required.
· 2 Years of Experience with delivery
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
· Possess a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle record.
· Ability to use an electronic tablet to view pick-up and delivery routes, electronic packing slips, and company ERP system.
· Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
· Ability to be on call 24/7 for rush/emergency pickups and deliveries.
· Able to read a map/use a GPS.
· Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation.
· Ability to follow both oral and written policies, procedures, and instructions.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Frequent stooping, bending and walking.
· Frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
· Frequent reaching with hands and arms, balancing, kneeling, crouching or crawling to unload company fleet vehicles.

· Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds to unload and load orders being picked up and/or delivered.

· Generally, works in a climate-controlled vehicle with occasional work in a warehouse, production or office environment at customer locations that may or may not be climate controlled.
· Ability to travel occasionally domestically, no more than 95% of the time.
